Interested in 2007 - 2009 CRV, AWD gas mileage
I know what Comsumer Reports says, but would like to know what you get, all wheel drive only.

No one talked about sewer hose, even at the dump station you hook up your sewer hose. I have seen people dump without hooking up their hose and they always leave a mess.

We are on our third Winnebago, all good poducts. In this time of mfgs closing their doors, I think Winnebago will weather the times. Good support on their web site, even older models, specs, diagrams, and the WIT club (Winnebago, Itasca Travelers) with local chapters in every state.

In 1995 I purchased a Class C windshield cover like you see on Class A’s, during the day you can see out, people can’t see in and it keeps the hot sun out. At night we do need to put up our inside privacy curtain. I have not seen any like this for sale lately. If you can find one they are really nice. If you find any let me know my is getting near replacement time.

Have you contacted Jayco Factory Customer Service?
If it is still under warranty I would make sure you get it fixed before warranty is over. To me it does sound like it is in the pipes. Have you run a mixture of bleach and water into the pipes and let it sit, then flush it out. You can do this with a plant food mixing thing you put on the end of your hose.
Is the water bad both hot and cold? I have had many new RV's and never had this problem.

How about Whaleshead beach resort, anybody stay there
Had lunch there, it is on the East side of 101 and most good sites have cabin like park models on them. I would not stay there.
Over the past two days or three days there have been too forums on Oregon caost and Souther Oregon coast, take a look at them for some additional good info.

The last time we were in OR State Park they only had water and electric and a dump station, no full hookups. Correct me if I am wrong. Here is the web site for the Port of Brooking park on the beach with full hookups inc cable and not for free wifi:

I have added a short pigtail with a double male connector to end I hook cable on, it makes it easy to hook up cable. I also purchased slip on ends for my cable so I don't need to twist it on each time.

When are you going thru here? There is a Senior Pro Rodeo comming up this weekend. Senior Pro Rodeo 9/20 & 23. If you don't like the smell of horses near your site this would not be the weekend to stay there.
I think it is still $12. and there is water and 30 amp elect at each site.

Tell them 12K and throw in the 100K mile extended warranty. Tell them this is your one and only offer. If they want you to sign an offer, write on it that it is only valid one hour. Like others have said there are a lot of RVs for sale now and it is a buyers market.
Make sure if things are promised it is in writing.
In my opinion I would look for a RV that does not have a rubber roof.

go to tracfone.com and I think you can see coverage area map. I have had our Tracfone for three years and it works great in most areas where other cell phones work. The service comes with voice mail so if you are out of range and you get a call and they leave you a VM you will get a message beep and symbol when you get back in coverage if you leave your phone on. Your battery will run down faster when you are out of coverage, because the phone is searching for a site. I would recommend you get a flip phone. Regards, Dick
I use a Motorola V170 and purchased a 12v car charger cord, it comes with a 110v charger.
